About

AirFoil™ lets containers breathe without leaking. Compatible with all bottle materials and sizes, AirFoil™ gives the end user/consumer confidence that the product is safe to use and provides critical leak prevention, tamper-evidence, and brand protection customers expect from Selig’s induction liners but in a breathable design. AirFoil™ is available in Selig’s full line of one-piece, two-piece, and Lift ‘n’ Peel™ liners.   AirFoil™ can be used in conjunction with a Circumvent™ vented foam liner, or separately. Selig’s vented solutions are available in roll-stock, tubed or bulk-packed pre-cut discs, or installed into closures.

Benefits of Venting

Selig’s wide range of Container Venting solutions provide brand owners with unique and cost-effective ways to resolve challenging container distortion issues. Incorporating non-leaking breathability into packaging can provide improvements throughout a business’s entire value chain. Furthermore, venting can remove the limitations that have historically prevented formulators from using the most effective ingredients at optimal or increased concentrations. It allows for increased package design flexibility and cost reductions during the package design phase, as well as during the filling process. Venting also eliminates container distortion issues commonly experienced during shipping and warehousing. All of this while simultaneously allowing companies to reduce costs, improve the consumer experience, and achieve important sustainability goals and objectives.
