FoilSeal™ is a range of heat induction foil innerseals for sealing to a variety of resin types, including PE, PP, PET, PVC and treated glass. Additional options allow for venting of dry products, clean peel or tamper indicating, and printing. FoilSeal™ is one of Selig’s most versatile liners that can be engineered on almost container material.
One-piece FoilSeal™ has a board or foam backing structure, but is also available as an unsupported (no backing) induction seal. Options for thinner foils exist.
Two-piece FoilSeal™ liners have a temporary wax bond to a secondary reseal liner (‘backing’). The backing (foam or pulp) provides a secure seal after the innerseal is removed, useful for consistent reseal, especially on packages with defect prone finishes. A variety of container materials can be sealed, including PE, PP, PET, PVC and treated glass. Options include thinner foils, tamper evidence, printing, and barrier layers on the foil innerseal and backing.
Selig offers solutions for multiple material types. For seals and liners, the container material type will dictate the solutions that work best for your product. Select one or more container material types to view the relevant product datasheets.
